Like any baby, we set them up for success. I would only call her when she is in the same room as me--at least with my real come word. I have the throw away word "Here" when I want to know where the dog is, but I know I'll be way too lazy to chase them down if they don't come. And then I have my real word that I want close to 100% with. A fun game for puppy is for you and hubby to load up with treats and sit across the room from each other. Hubby holds puppy while you rev her up until she is trying to get away from hubby and to you. Then you say the magic word "Come" and he lets go and she is flying towards you and gets the treat. Then you hold and reverse the process. Lots of fun and gets really fast recalls. Just remember SMALL steps are best :) Remember she is a baby. Like any baby, we set them up for success.
